Joe began working in the material handling industry in the early 90’s and worked on systems for UPS, Fedex, USPS, Frito Lay, Pepsi and more. By, 1998, he was working as a foreman for installation crews on projects across the U.S. In 1998, he left the material handling industry to take a position at NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston, TX. During his time at NASA Joe worked as a dive operations specialist.
The experience Joe brought from his work in the material handling industry proved to be a huge asset as the mechanical aptitude required in both positions were quite similar. The environment at NASA allowed Joe to worked with critical lift scenarios and in an environment that “failure was not an option”.
In 2013 Joe returned to his roots in the material handling industry and is now working as an Installation Supervisor for Darana Hybrid. Joe’s attention to detail and strong work ethic allows him to be a strong asset on any size project.

I started working for Darana full time the day after I graduated high school. I started as a helper and had the opportunity to work with some of the best installers in the conveyor industry. Working with and around great mentors has gotten me where I am today.
